POSITION OVERVIEW

We are on the lookout for an International Tax Senior Manager who possesses a comprehensive understanding of the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act of 2017 and its impact on international tax laws. The ideal candidate will have profound knowledge of GILTI, FDII, and other recent U.S. tax regulations, along with current international reporting obligations.

This role entails a thorough review of tax submissions, detailed research on tax legislation and rulings, aimed at developing effective compliance strategies that enhance returns while minimizing costs. International tax professionals will also assist in tax audits and address issues with various governmental bodies. Additionally, the position includes supervising team members in daily departmental functions and project oversight.

While our firm engages in multinational corporate tax issues, our primary emphasis is on supporting entrepreneurial individuals, families with cross-border tax planning, and providing transactional advisory services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leading, motivating, and mentoring associates and senior associates.
  • Keeping abreast of evolving tax regulations.
  • Building and nurturing client relationships.
  • Ensuring adherence to compliance standards.
  • Conducting and overseeing tax research and advisory services.
  • Fostering a collaborative team environment.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • CPA certification or Bar Admission.
  • A minimum of 5 years of general tax experience, including at least 2 years in international tax, from either public or private sectors.
  • Expertise in compliance and advisory services.
  • Strong research capabilities and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in project management and delivering presentations.
  • Prior supervisory experience is essential.
  • Knowledgeable in tax compliance practices covering corporate, partnership, trust, and individual taxation.
  • A client-focused and goal-oriented approach.
