Position Summary:
We are seeking a Vice President of Commercial Lines Sales & Carrier Relations to lead our Gulf States team. This role is pivotal in guiding and nurturing our sales personnel within the Gulf States Profit Center.
Key Responsibilities:
As a leader, you will:
- Provide strategic direction and development opportunities for all sales team members.
- Set, oversee, and evaluate both short-term and long-term business objectives for the Profit Center.
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and other business partners.
- Recruit, mentor, and retain high-caliber talent while managing revenue goals effectively.
What You Will Do:
- Strategically identify, qualify, and interview potential sales team members, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
- Enhance Producers' development through the utilization of BBU and other available resources.
- Provide training and mentorship in areas such as coverage analysis, sales strategies, and service procedures.
- Collaborate with production staff to identify sales opportunities and monitor performance metrics using our technology platforms.
- Assist in gathering essential client information for marketing purposes and perform risk assessments to identify coverage gaps.
- Engage in prospect calls for significant accounts and accompany Producers on business development meetings as necessary.
- Work with the PCL and individual producers to set annual sales targets based on various business metrics.
- Ensure that the quality of service provided by each producer meets client expectations and agency standards.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Clean driving record.
- Minimum of 5 years in sales.
- P&C License.
Preferred:
- Degree in business or finance.
- Experience in management.
- CIC Designation.
