Surgical Education Office Coordinator

The Commonwealth of Virginia is seeking a detail-oriented and organized student worker to support the Surgical Education team with various administrative functions. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and organizational skills, as well as experience with Microsoft products.
Responsibilities:
• Clerkship Program: Assign student evaluations to faculty, enter grades in database, label shelf exam instruction sheets for students, update electronic app schedule with conferences, help assign M3 call schedule, assist with compiling evaluations for grade report, track student assignment completion, track faculty evaluation compliance, pull evaluations from database on faculty, residents, and sites as needed, organize/sort electronic files, and occasionally assist with special projects.
• Residency Tasks: Monitor resident duty hours & case logs databases for compliance, pull documents for Semi-Annual Meetings & Mentor Meetings, compiling and entering data for resident competency meetings.
Requirements:
• Must be a current/actively enrolled VCU student.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Comfort with all Microsoft products.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Prior experience in graduate and undergraduate medical education.
