Job Overview

Position: Catering Attendant

Job Summary: As a Catering Attendant, you will be responsible for delivering and serving food at various events under the guidance of the catering supervisor. Your role is crucial in ensuring that all events are executed flawlessly during your shift.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport and set up food and supplies for catered events at designated locations.
  • Monitor and log food temperatures to ensure safety and quality.
  • Prepare and arrange tables and decorations according to event standards.
  • Serve food and beverages to guests, ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the event area during and after the function.
  • Return leftover food and equipment to the catering facility promptly.
  • Collect feedback from guests through comment cards.
  • Keep the catering facility organized and stocked.
  • Provide friendly and courteous service to all guests.
  • Stay informed about the menu and available products.
  • Adhere to safety and sanitation policies at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A valid driver's license may be necessary; must be able to obtain a food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers' permit as required by state regulations.
