POSITION SUMMARY:
The Quality Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring product excellence by undertaking the following responsibilities:
- Conducting thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process items, and final products.
- Engaging in and overseeing supplier PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) activities and documentation.
- Generating nonconformance reports for any products that fail to meet established standards and specifications.
- Coordinating calibration schedules, collaborating closely with the production team and external service providers to guarantee all measuring instruments are properly calibrated.
- Executing regular audits of production lines to maintain quality standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance or engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) or Faro Arm is considered an asset.
- Language proficiency: English (fluent).
