**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Rural Counties Peer Support Specialist to join our Support Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program at St. Patrick Center. As a key member of our team, you will provide critical support to veteran families in rural Missouri, helping them achieve their housing goals and overcome challenges.
Key Responsibilities- Meet with clients to understand their needs and develop personalized support plans
- Collaborate with the Rural Counties team to track client progress and identify areas for improvement
- Engage case managers to coordinate services and provider involvement
- Document all support-related activities and services
- Travel extensively within the regions of Warren, St. Charles, St. Francois, Franklin, Washington, Lincoln, and Jefferson counties of Missouri
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a related field, such as social work or counseling
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
