Recovery Coach and Peer Specialist

The Salvation Army USA Central Territory is seeking a Recovery Coach and Peer Specialist to join our team in the EPICC Project. This individual will have the opportunity to work on a community collaboration with numerous treatment centers in the Eastern Region of Missouri.
As a Recovery Coach for the EPICC Project, you will be responsible for providing outreach efforts to individuals who use opioids, motivating them to seek treatment services, and coordinating connections to treatment and recovery support services.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, previous lived experience with substance use, and a minimum of two years in recovery. They must also possess Missouri Peer Specialist certification at the time of hire or within 30 days of hire.
Key responsibilities include:
- Following a monthly Recovery Coach outreach schedule/plan
- Providing outreach efforts to individuals who use opioids and motivating them to seek treatment services
- Coordinating connections to treatment and recovery support services
- Accurately documenting outreaches in the Efforts to Outcomes (ETO) Database
- Participating in EPICC team meetings and meeting with EPICC Program Management regularly
The Salvation Army USA Central Territory offers a competitive salary of $17.00 per hour and a full-time schedule of 40 hours per week.
