Job Opportunity in Engineering Research

We are seeking highly skilled and motivated individuals to join our team as Laboratory Technicians in Engineering at the Department of Chemistry, Virginia Commonwealth University.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Principal Investigator in fabricating biomedical devices, including sensors, microfluidic chips, and detectors.
  • Characterize and evaluate devices to ensure their functionality and performance.
  • Contribute to research projects and publications, with opportunities for authorship.
Requirements:
  • Engineering-related Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in optical fibers, electric circuits, clean room fabrication, and 3D printing.
