About This Role:

As a Sales Solutions Generalist, you'll provide exceptional customer experiences by helping guests find and purchase animals, supplies, and services. You'll work closely with customers to understand their needs and preferences, connecting them with specialists when necessary. Your primary focus will be on delivering an outstanding experience for each guest, ensuring our merchandise is properly stocked and priced.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with guests using your acquired skills and training to create a great experience.
  • Assist guests in selecting merchandise based on their identified needs.
  • Demonstrate a high level of interest in animal welfare, health, and proper handling.
  • Process transactions efficiently, creating a great experience for each guest.
  • Gather insights from customers to generate future business opportunities.
  • Support the Pet Care Center in achieving sales goals.
  • Ensure merchandise is stocked, priced, and displayed to create a great presentation.
  • Maintain a high level of expertise through training programs.
  • Adhere to operational guidelines, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Able to work successfully within a team environment.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor required.
  • Keen interest in animal care and welfare.
  • Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in sales, retail, or related fields.
  • High knowledge of pet nutrition and aptitude for sales techniques.

We offer a competitive salary range: $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
