About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Principal Program Manager to join our Growth team at Atlassian. As a key member of our Program Management organization, you will play a critical role in shaping our growth strategy and driving successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage large technical programs that span multiple teams and product areas, ensuring alignment with business strategy and technical teams.
  • Lead high-volume and high-complexity dependencies and risks between teams, aligning partners and escalating as necessary.
  • Report on success metrics for programs, including major risks, and provide strategic guidance to leadership teams.
  • Partner with product and delivery teams to develop and execute technical strategies, driving innovation and growth.
  • Guide and facilitate technical discussions to unblock program outcomes, applying technical expertise to support and negotiate delivery timelines.
  • Advocate for change in program management and deliver best practices, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of program leadership experience on software teams as a Program Manager.
  • Experience leading projects spanning multiple teams in multiple timezones, covering all aspects of project management.
  • Foundational technical knowledge that will allow you to work with engineering teams, including modern SaaS architecture, development, and operational experience.
  • Experience using metrics to improve software development processes for cloud/SaaS teams.
  • Experience working with experimentation teams and specifically A/B testing.
