The Events Merchandise and Operations Manager is a key role within Bethel Church of Redding, responsible for ensuring seamless product fulfillment and shipment for our events. This position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Product Fulfillment: Coordinate the management of product sales booths and point-of-sale processes for all Bethel Music events.
- Shipping and Logistics: Oversee the forecasting, advancing, shipping, setting up, and tearing down of event needs, including volunteer coordination.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory of all supplies and act as the main point of contact for warehousing needs.
- Merchandise Management: Organize product assortments and delivery for influencers, artists, and guests for promotional and marketing purposes.
- Financial Management: Reconcile payment and monthly budget by updating records with sales and payout details.
- Event Support: Assist on events as needed and ensure the merchandise showroom is stocked, inventoried, and ready for guests.
- College degree preferred.
- Forklift certification required.
- Basic e-commerce knowledge and use of sales software and platforms, including Shopify, Google Analytics, Inventory Software, Square, and Amazon.
- Understanding of finance for stock management.
- Ability to multi-task and function in a fast-paced working environment.
- Proficient in Google Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in front of a computer screen for extended periods of time.
- Ability to type and use wrists, hands, or fingers for extended periods of time.
- Able to move, transport, and position equipment and inventory regularly, up to 50 lbs.
- Able to travel on Bethel Music tours and events for up to 2 weeks at a time.
- Paid sick leave, bereavement leave, and jury duty.
