About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Product Manager to lead the development of our hardware collaboration platform, enabling the next generation of smart vehicles, IoT devices, rockets, medical devices, and robotics.

As a Product Manager, you will work closely with our founding team, product, and engineering teams to create, maintain, and champion the company's product roadmap. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders across the Engineering and Go-to-Market teams to design, scope, and prioritize roadmap items.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining and documenting product objectives, requirements, and constraints in collaboration with software engineers
  • Leading brainstorming, refinement, and testing of potential new solutions
  • Collaborating with customers to conduct user interviews, understand their pain points, and gather insights
  • Creating mockups and user stories using design tools
  • Researching and staying current on industry trends, the state of hardware tooling, and user needs to inform project decisions and task prioritization

Sample projects may include:

  • Improving the new user onboarding experience
  • Prototyping new hardware design data rendering
  • Developing concepts for electronics component library user interface
  • Building product strategy to increase utilization of in-app hardware CI/CD tools
  • Enhancing the billing experience for users
  • Designing and collaborating with the engineering team to build a Git client for hardware teams
  • Collaborating with the go-to-market team to update product documentation and execute product adoption strategies

Requirements include:

  • 2+ years of product management experience working on highly-technical, infrastructure, or developer tool products
  • Project management skills with ability to lead and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to move projects forward
  • Experience managing software projects using tools such as JIRA, Notion, or a similar issue tracking system
  • Knowledge of UX/UI best practices, user-centered design, and prototyping skills
  • Exposure to building products in the hardware space or working closely with hardware teams
  • Ability to think in terms of the big picture and deliver on details
  • Comfortable sharing feedback and operating as a peer to our executive team
  • Able to manage ambiguity and self-directed

Bonus items include:

  • Early-stage startup experience
  • Electrical or hardware engineering background
  • Knowledge of software workflows and Git platforms like GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket
  • Available to work out of our flex offices in San Francisco or Boston on a hybrid-basis
