Position Overview

The Delaware Resource Group of Oklahoma is seeking a KC-135 Flight Training Specialist to deliver comprehensive instruction on KC-135 Aircraft Systems and operational protocols in various environments including aircraft, classroom, and simulator settings. This role involves contributing as a Subject Matter Expert in the creation of curriculum for new training courses as necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver instruction on KC-135 Pilot procedures across multiple platforms.
  • Facilitate Crew Resource Management (CRM) training sessions.
  • Assist in the development of new course curricula as a Subject Matter Expert.
  • Review and enhance existing lesson plans and training materials.
  • Propose improvements to training policies and procedures.
  • Encourage a positive learning environment and the adoption of new technologies.
  • Conduct ground training for crew members, addressing and resolving student challenges.
  • Engage in project development tasks as assigned.
  • Manage administrative responsibilities including scheduling, record-keeping, and monitoring student progress.
  • Ensure safety and compliance within simulator environments.
  • Maintain proficiency in the operation of essential KC-135 Aircrew Training Devices.
  • Possess prior aircraft operating experience to maintain credibility with trainees.
  • Stay current with instrument, take-off, landing, and emergency procedure proficiencies.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of eight years of flying experience, including five years of military service, with at least two years as a KC-135 Pilot instructor.
  • Completion of a formal USAF Instructor training program.
  • Strong skills in facilitation and data analysis.

Physical and Environmental Requirements
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required.
  • Capable of navigating simulator and aircraft environments, including climbing and maneuvering.
  • Ability to detect sounds and issues within the simulator and training environments.

Work Environment
  • Regular office environment with communication via computer and telephone.
  • Exposure to electrical and mechanical hazards, as well as varying environmental conditions.
