Job Title: Security Specialist

Aviation Training Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Security Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and safety of our training facilities and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide access control and security services for our simulator bay and surrounding areas.
  • Collaborate with Navy squadron personnel to assist in the production of training schedules and monitor training events.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including copying, records management, and student material binding.
  • Ensure multiple doors are properly secured prior to student arrival and alarms are set accordingly.
  • Verify identity and distribute badges to staff and students.
  • Conduct hourly inspections of the simulator bay and surrounding areas.
  • Report problems to supervisor, operations staff, and base security as required.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Candidates must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check Local Records and Credit (NACLC) or Access National Agency Check with written Inquiries (ANACI), eligibility for a SECRET clearance.
  • Shall be able to obtain a DOD CAC card privileges to ensure access to flight line workspaces and critical information systems.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to work overtime as required.
  • Willingness to work any shift or day of the week as required.
  • Eligibility for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
