Overview:
The Residence Inn by Marriott Sanibel/Ft Myers is on the lookout for an enthusiastic Front Desk Agent/Relief Night Audit to join our vibrant team. We offer competitive compensation based on experience, and we require candidates to have flexible availability, including nights and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests warmly with a genuine smile and maintain eye contact.
- Utilize a positive and clear communication style to listen to guest inquiries and respond effectively.
- Implement operational and sales strategies to optimize occupancy rates and enhance revenue.
- Provide accurate information about hotel amenities and services to guests.
- Manage cash transactions in accordance with accounting standards.
- Foster effective communication within the Front Office and across all hotel departments.
- Stay informed about front office operations and hotel-wide issues, and participate in scheduled meetings.
- Follow safety and security protocols, responding appropriately to emergencies and addressing hazards promptly.
- Safeguard guest information and manage guest room keys with diligence.
- Efficiently handle the registration process, ensuring all guest details are accurately recorded.
- Complete check-out procedures and maintain organized registration records.
Work Schedule:
Full-time positions are available, requiring a minimum of 30 hours per week with flexible availability.
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 1 year of prior experience as a Front Desk Agent in a branded hotel is required.
Language Skills: Proficiency in English is necessary.
