Job Summary and Qualifications- Exhibits clinical proficiency in establishing and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Organizes and supplies equipment based on procedural requirements and physician preferences.
- Demonstrates clinical skills in assisting physicians during specific procedures.
- Advocates for cost-effective practices while ensuring high-quality patient care.
- Participates in on-call duties and shows adaptability to meet staffing needs.
- Shows versatility by performing various roles within the Cath Lab and Holding Area to facilitate departmental operations.
- Evaluates relevant data, communicates findings, and accurately documents information.
- Actively seeks opportunities for enhancing patient care and process improvements.
- Pursues professional development through ongoing education and training.
- Complies with hospital policies and procedures, supporting the institution's mission.
- Maintains a safe working environment, including adherence to radiation safety protocols.
- Communicates effectively with colleagues, management, and other departments.
- Aids in the orientation and training of new staff members (level II and above).
CVS Level TWO
EXPERIENCE:
Required – Allied health care professional or CVS 1, with a minimum of three years' experience in a catheterization lab environment.
EDUCATION:
Required – Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross (ARC) or American Heart Association (AHA) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 180 days of employment.
This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule (weekdays only).
