Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cardiac Cath Lab CV Spec II to join our team at LewisGale Medical Center. As a key member of our cardiovascular team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the smooth operation of our Cath Lab.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate clinical expertise in creating and maintaining a sterile field, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients and staff.
- Plan and provide equipment and supplies based on procedure and physician needs, promoting cost containment while delivering high-quality patient care.
- Demonstrate flexibility to perform other functions within the Cath Lab and in the Holding Area to assist in the smooth operation of the department.
- Analyze pertinent data, communicate findings, and document information appropriately, contributing to process improvement and patient care.
- Actively participate in improving patient care and process improvement, adhering to hospital policies and procedures, and supporting the mission of the hospital.
- Contribute to the orientation and training of new staff members, ensuring a seamless transition and high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Full-time, day shift (weekdays only) position.
- Experience in a cardiovascular laboratory setting, with a strong understanding of cardiac catheterization procedures and techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and physicians.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and implement process improvements.
- Strong attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining a sterile environment and ensuring patient safety.
