Position: Salesforce QA Analyst for Marketing Cloud Functionality

Location: Remote

Employment Type:
Contract

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement software testing strategies to uncover software issues and their origins.
Execute comprehensive test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures.
Assess system modifications in preparation for deployment.
Create testing programs that focus on areas such as database effects, software scenarios, or user experience.
Document software defects using a bug tracking system and communicate issues to software developers.
Identify, analyze, and document issues related to program functionality, output, online interfaces, or content.
Oversee bug resolution processes and monitor success rates.
Establish or maintain databases of known test defects.
Plan testing schedules or strategies in alignment with project scope or delivery timelines.
Conduct manual testing for Marketing Cloud functionalities developed by our team.
Design and execute test scripts.
Collaborate with our automated regression suite to enhance its application for our specific requirements.

Ensure the quality of Salesforce Marketing Cloud communications, including SMS, emails, and push notifications directed to our patients, employees, and healthcare providers.


Required Skills and Experience:

Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities, customer service orientation, and interpersonal skills.
Basic capability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Fundamental knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic devices, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.

Basic understanding of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in creating precise technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models.

Basic knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
Basic familiarity with computer development software, such as Microsoft Visual Basic, Linux, JavaScript, etc.
Experience in the communications domain, particularly with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Awareness of the complexities involved in QA testing within the communications field, such as varying text message formats across different carriers and devices.


Educational Qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is required.
A QA professional with experience in communications (Email, SMS, Push Notifications) is essential.
