Role Overview:

As a member of the Salesforce Public Sector and Aerospace & Government System Integrator division, we deliver PaaS and SaaS cloud solutions to government contractors, enhancing their operational efficiency and mission effectiveness. Our clientele spans a diverse range of industries, including manufacturing, professional services, and technology, allowing us to provide tailored solutions that meet their unique needs.

We are seeking outstanding candidates to join our team. The Solutions Architect will play a pivotal role in showcasing our product offerings and architecture to potential clients, instilling confidence in Salesforce's technological framework, and addressing any technical concerns throughout the sales process. To succeed in this role, the Solutions Architect must possess a strong desire to leverage their technical and sales expertise, including the ability to identify business requirements, formulate a technical sales strategy, configure, and demonstrate solutions that deliver business value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehend customer objectives and challenges, aligning them with the Salesforce product suite.
  • Design, develop, and present innovative solutions to tackle these challenges.
  • Showcase Salesforce's technological infrastructure, demonstrating a thorough understanding of hardware, software, networking, and security components.
  • Engage in relevant product, sales, and technical training to maintain the necessary knowledge for effectiveness in the role.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual goals collaboratively defined with management.
  • Respond proficiently to RFIs/RFPs.
  • Actively participate in a dynamic, high-energy market segment while managing multiple projects in a team-selling environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a solutions or sales engineer, consultant, or implementation partner for a CRM company or similar technology.
  • Familiarity with related applications, relational databases, web technologies, and cybersecurity.
  • Understanding of application processing and architecture.
  • Excellent oral, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate within a cross-functional team to resolve technical challenges.
  • Experience in solution selling; prior sales/pre-sales experience is advantageous.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Aerospace, Manufacturing, Professional Services, and/or Government Contracting organizations is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce technology and/or Salesforce Certifications.
  • Familiarity with Government Cloud Compliance standards and certifications.
  • B.S. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS, or equivalent work experience.
