Duties and Responsibilities


  • Develop and maintain custom applications within the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, and Visualforce.
  • Architect and implement MuleSoft integration solutions to connect Salesforce with other enterprise systems.
  • Develop reusable APIs using MuleSoft's API-led connectivity approach.
  • Ensure all solutions adhere to Salesforce and MuleSoft best practices, including security and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate with business analysts to translate requirements into technical specifications.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in both Salesforce and MuleSoft environments.
  • Stay current with the latest Salesforce and MuleSoft features and updates, recommending innovations to improve our technology stack.
  • Design and implement complex workflows, process builders, and approval processes
  • Integrate Salesforce with other internal and external systems using APIs and middleware
  • Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and end-users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Perform system configuration, data migrations, and routine maintenance
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Salesforce releases and best practices
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

 

  • Proficiency in SOQL, JavaScript, IDEs like VSCode, and SCM tools like Git, BitBucket Experience with Custom Application development on Force.com platform
  • MuleSoft: Anypoint Platform, Mule 4, DataWeave, API design
  • Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Application Architect, System Architect)
  • Experience with Salesforce CPQ, Marketing Cloud, or Service Cloud
  • Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment tools


QUALIFICATIONS


Required Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field


Preferred Education:

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field


Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer
  • Strong proficiency in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and SOQL/SOSL
  • Experience with Salesforce APIs, data migration tools, and integration patterns
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Experience with Salesforce DX and modern CI/CD practices.
  • Proficiency in integration patterns and API-led connectivity approach.

Required Licensure/ Certification:

Salesforce Platform Developer I certification required


Preferred Licensure/ Certification:

Platform Developer II preferred
