Job Title: Compensation and Benefits Coordinator

Position Overview: We are in search of a proficient Compensation and Benefits Coordinator to enhance our operational team. The successful candidate will possess a comprehensive knowledge of HR methodologies and payroll practices, ensuring precise and punctual payroll management in compliance with organizational standards and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Payroll Management:
    • Oversee the complete payroll cycle for all personnel, guaranteeing precision and adherence to company protocols and applicable laws.
    • Accurately compute salaries, deductions, overtime, and other payroll-related elements.
    • Implement payroll modifications, including onboarding, terminations, promotions, and status changes.
    • Examine and reconcile payroll documentation to detect inconsistencies and confirm accuracy.
    • Collaborate with financial and accounting departments to ensure smooth payroll data integration.
  2. Human Resources Administration:
    • Support various HR administrative functions, including employee onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining employee records.
    • Assist in managing employee benefits, including enrollment, modifications, and inquiries.
    • Facilitate employee training and development programs in partnership with departmental leaders.
    • Contribute to the formulation and execution of HR policies to ensure compliance with legal standards and best practices.
  3. Employee Engagement:
    • Act as a resource for employee questions regarding payroll, benefits, and general HR issues.
    • Address employee concerns and escalate matters to HR leadership as necessary.
    • Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in managing sensitive employee data.
  4. Regulatory Compliance and Reporting:
    • Remain informed about federal, state, and local labor regulations, as well as industry developments related to payroll and HR practices.
    • Prepare and submit necessary regulatory reports and filings.
    • Assist in audits and compliance assessments, providing accurate information and documentation as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in HR and payroll management, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial context.
  • Strong grasp of payroll operations, tax laws, and labor regulations.
  • Proficient in payroll systems and HRIS platforms, with familiarity in ADP, Workday, or similar tools preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data management and calculations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of engaging professionally with employees at all levels.
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities, meet deadlines, and function effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in managing confidential information.
