Job Title: Compensation and Benefits Coordinator

Position Overview: We are in search of a proficient Compensation and Benefits Coordinator to enhance our operational efficiency. The successful candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of human resources methodologies and payroll systems, ensuring the precise and prompt execution of payroll while complying with organizational policies and legal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Payroll Management:
    • Oversee the complete payroll cycle for all personnel, guaranteeing precision and adherence to company guidelines and applicable laws.
    • Accurately compute salaries, deductions, overtime, and other payroll-related components.
    • Facilitate payroll modifications, including onboarding, terminations, promotions, and employment status changes.
    • Examine and reconcile payroll statements to detect inconsistencies and maintain accuracy.
    • Collaborate with financial departments to ensure smooth integration of payroll information.
  2. Human Resources Support:
    • Assist with various HR administrative functions, such as employee onboarding, offboarding, and maintaining employee records.
    • Support the administration of employee benefits, including enrollment, modifications, and inquiries.
    • Coordinate training and development programs in partnership with department leaders.
    • Contribute to the formulation and execution of HR policies to ensure compliance with legal standards and best practices.
  3. Employee Engagement:
    • Act as a resource for employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and general HR topics.
    • Address employee issues and escalate concerns to HR leadership as necessary.
    • Uphold confidentiality and professionalism when managing sensitive employee data.
  4. Regulatory Compliance and Reporting:
    • Stay informed about federal, state, and local labor regulations and industry developments concerning payroll and HR practices.
    • Prepare and submit necessary regulatory documentation and reports.
    • Assist with audits and compliance evaluations, providing accurate information and records as required.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in HR and payroll management, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial context.
  • Solid grasp of payroll operations, tax laws, and labor regulations.
  • Proficient in payroll software and HRIS systems, with familiarity in platforms such as ADP, Workday, or similar.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data management and calculations.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, capable of engaging professionally with employees across all levels.
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities, meet deadlines, and function effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • High degree of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
