Responsibilities
  • Confirm project schedules with subcontractors and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Plan and coordinate daily job site activities to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Resolve field problems promptly and notify project managers as necessary.
  • Hire, train, and develop foremen and assistants to ensure a skilled and motivated team.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with project team members, including subcontractors and clients.
  • Acquire quotes from multiple suppliers for materials and equipment.
  • Return rental equipment in a timely manner to avoid additional costs.
  • Monitor and control overtime and regular man hours to ensure project stays within budget.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily job site activities, including delivery and testing receipts.
  • Ensure safety meeting records and sign-off sheets are up-to-date and compliant with regulations.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of construction experience, including public works projects.
  • 3+ years of supervisory experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
  • Detailed experience with subcontractor and construction sequencing to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Understanding of ASIs, RFIs, and Material Submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and provide exceptional client service.
  • A valid driver's license to travel to job sites as necessary.
