Fire Sprinkler Service Sales Representative

State Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fire Sprinkler Service Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting and selling fire sprinkler service offerings to various customers and end-users within the Memphis metro, West Tennessee, Eastern Arkansas, and Northern Mississippi.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish contact with prospective and qualified potential buyers of system modifications and upgrades by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads, and outlined marketing strategies.
  • Determine customer needs by conducting site surveys and communicate effectively to educate the customer about State Systems capabilities.
  • Develop and maintain an active proposal backlog to support the established sales plan.
  • Develop and maintain new and existing customer relationships to ensure our team meets or exceeds the expectations of a long-term partner.
  • Support other internal teams in their initiatives as they relate to your territory.
  • Meet the key objectives of the annual commission plan qualifications.
Qualifications:
  • Three to five years' experience in the fire protection industry.
  • Ability to establish and maintain viable local and distance relationships with end-users and remodel contractors.
  • Strong prospecting drive.
  • Proven ability to close work.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to pass a post-offer drug test, background, and reference check.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record.
  • Willingness to learn & utilize personal computers to include operating systems such as Windows Office - Excel and Word programs.
