Job Overview

We are looking for a committed and skilled Behavior Specialist to join our team at ProCare Therapy. This role requires a minimum of 1+ years of experience in behavior analysis within an educational setting.

Position Type: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and create tailored behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students facing behavioral challenges.
  • Deliver direct behavioral therapy and provide consultation services to students, educators, and support personnel.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to apply evidence-based strategies and interventions effectively.
  • Educate and assist school staff in implementing behavior management techniques and strategies.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, making necessary adjustments to interventions.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • A Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related discipline is required.
  • Experience working with students diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other developmental disabilities in an educational context.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities are essential.
