About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Capital Account Manager to join our team at STERIS. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving growth in market share, meeting sales goals, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a yearly business plan for capital and associated consumable goods.
  • Submit and execute accurate forecasts for capital and associated consumable products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including CEOs, COOs, and CFOs.
  • Utilize value-added services to differentiate STERIS from competitors.
  • Manage the after-sale process, including in-servicing and ensuring customers have thorough knowledge of equipment and chemistries.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Three to five years of successful sales experience, including a minimum of two years of B2B or medical device sales experience.
  • Demonstrated concept selling skills and a thorough understanding of the hospital buying process.
  • A BA/BS degree, preferably in Business or Marketing.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in MS Office.
Preferred Experience

Preferred candidates will have experience in medical device sales, account management, and infection control. A strong understanding of the industry and market trends is also desirable.
