Catalyst Life Sciences is seeking a Staff Human Factors Engineer

Catalyst Life Sciences is working with a client who is currently seeking a Staff Human Factors Engineer to join their growing team. This client is an international medical device firm with a start-up like culture. This position would sit onsite out of the Lowell, MA area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct usability testing and studies to ensure medical devices are user-friendly and safe
  • Collaborate with project managers, regulatory, design, and other teams to represent the Human Factors team
  • Provide guidance to both sustaining and new product development teams on human factors principles and best practices

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Human Factors within the Medical Device space
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Psychology, Industrial Design, or other related fields
  • Experience with medical device protocols including IEC, ISO 14971, ISO 13485
