Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomechanics Engineer to join our team at InsideHigherEd. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting multiple exoskeleton studies and performance evaluations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect and process biomechanics data for assigned studies
  • Manage databases and ensure regulatory approvals
  • Maintain equipment and inventory, and provide training and supervision to faculty, staff, students, and collaborators
  • Contribute to scientific presentations and publications
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Biomechanics, Exercise Science/Kinesiology, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • At least three years of experience with human motion capture instrumentation, surface EMG instrumentation, human subjects research, and MS Office
  • Excellent organizational skills, ability to work in a team, and willingness to learn new skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with inertial motion capture, Matlab/Python programming, Visual3d programming, and indirect Calorimetry
