We are in search of an intern to support our Product Development team with daily tasks in our office. This role is ideal for proactive individuals who are hands-on in their approach. Learning Opportunities at Goldbug, Inc:Product Development
  • Track and analyze merchandise performance by program and style to create more profitable assortments.
  • Assist in essential research for product line development, including competitive analysis, pricing studies, and trend research.
Merchandising and Planning
  • Learn to monitor and track line development activities by creating and adhering to a seasonal timeline for your area of responsibility.
  • Participate in editing and merchandising product lines to align with program and style plans.
  • Assist in communicating with divisions and design teams regarding private brand merchandise and business strategies based on historical sales and unit forecasts.
Package Development
  • Support the development and production of packaging, including all copy, images, and layout, with a strong focus on managing all packaging files.
  • Engage with our packaging team daily to ensure packaging files meet our requirements.
Requirements:
  • Basic knowledge in:
    • Mac/PC operation
    • Outlook
    • Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator & Photoshop
  • Ability to follow directions and work independently or collaboratively.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills, with the capability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility and initiative in a dynamic work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Organizing samples and products.
  • Assisting in lab dip approvals.
  • Supporting product measurement tasks.
  • Organizing samples by brand, category, season, and other specified factors.
  • Tagging samples for both internal and external purposes.
  • Managing FedEx sample delivery and outbound package distribution.
  • Assisting the Merchandising department in the packaging development process.
  • Learning to navigate Goldbug's PLM system.
  • Assisting in reviewing data packs, linesheets, and planograms created by the design team.
Skills and Abilities:
  • Proficient in MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and other standard office equipment for recording, storing, analyzing, retrieving, and presenting information.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with a focus on deadlines and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that foster a positive team environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing work demands.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Educational Background:
  • Currently enrolled in a college with a credit-based internship program.
Experience:
  • 0+ years in a Merchandising-related field (Accessories, Apparel, Costume, Graphics, Production, Technical, Textile, etc.).
