POSITION SUMMARY:
A Customer Service Representative in Retail embodies warmth, outstanding service, and high standards while assisting patrons in our merchandise venues. This role involves welcoming customers upon entry, addressing inquiries related to products and store policies, and aiding in item location. The representative is also tasked with processing transactions and ensuring the sales area remains tidy and well-stocked. The objective is to enhance our business growth by delivering an unforgettable shopping experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION INCLUDE,
BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Warmly greet guests as they arrive and depart, maintaining genuine eye contact and a friendly demeanor.
- Recommend products, share insights, and provide detailed information about merchandise.
- Stay vigilant and attentive on the sales floor to assist with customer needs.
- Handle customer complaints or refunds with a positive attitude and professionalism.
- Process financial transactions and manage payments through the POS system.
- Ensure the sales floor is organized and well-stocked.
- Maintain order in stock rooms and accurately monitor inventory levels.
- Customer-focused mindset and patience.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Practical experience in cashier responsibilities and cash handling.
- Dependable and trustworthy.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- At least 6 months of experience in retail positions is preferred.
- A minimum of 6 months of customer service experience is preferred.
