The Audit Manager role is pivotal in steering the audit initiatives within the organization, acting as the Auditor-in-Charge (AIC) and executing the audit strategy across various Lines of Business (LOBs). This position entails a comprehensive oversight of audit activities, ensuring adherence to established audit policies and enhancing the control environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements audit strategies that emphasize risk-based auditing, defining the audit scope and crafting audit programs while ensuring timely and high-quality reporting through innovative methods.
- Serves as the Auditor-in-Charge (AIC), supervising audit testing to guarantee compliance with quality standards and audit procedures.
- Evaluates business processes and controls, providing insights on business impacts and severity ratings, while identifying trends and themes based on thorough business knowledge.
- Utilizes analytical skills and sound judgment to influence management positively, fostering improvements in the control environment and promoting continuous audit enhancements.
- Leads a team of associates, offering daily mentorship and guidance while cultivating an inclusive workplace culture.
- Maintains strong relationships with business partners, particularly line management, to enhance overall business acumen.
- Applies in-depth knowledge of products and technical expertise to effectively challenge management and enhance the control environment.
Required Skills:

Qualifications:
- At least 8 years of experience in audit or risk control, preferably within the financial services sector.
- Minimum of 3 years in a lead auditor or Auditor-in-Charge (AIC) capacity.
- Demonstrated risk assessment skills for evaluating processes and identifying control gaps.
- Strong time management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently as needed.
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree with relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Internal Audit (CIA) or similar credentials.
- Experience with analytical and automation tools (e.g., SQL, SAS, Python, Advanced Excel).
- Additional certifications such as CPA, CISA, CAMS, or CRCM.
Work Schedule:
Full-time, first shift.
