Primary Responsibilities:

  • Verify customer identification to ensure compliance with age requirements for alcohol purchases.
  • Present menus, respond to inquiries, and take food and beverage orders from guests.
  • Prepare a variety of drink orders, including wine, liquor, and beer.
  • Prepare appetizers and food items following established recipes and standards.
  • Monitor seating arrangements in the lounge/bar area to ensure all guests receive timely service.
  • Process payments and maintain accurate sales records.
  • Mitigate potential issues related to excessive drinking by taking appropriate actions, including discontinuing service when necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glasses, utensils, and equipment.
  • Ensure the kitchen and lounge areas are tidy, restocked, and organized at the end of each shift.
  • Plan and oversee the operations of the lounge/bar area effectively.
  • Prepare garnishes for drinks, including slicing and pitting fruit.
  • Arrange bottles and glasses for appealing displays.
  • Create innovative drink recipes to enhance the menu.
  • Conduct weekly inventory of liquor, food supplies, and equipment, ordering as necessary.
  • Maintain daily logs for temperature and waste management.
  • Inspect foodstuffs and supplies upon receipt to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Ensure proper reporting of tips for tax purposes.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
