Job Overview

Cascade Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider in Leavenworth, seeks an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to support its dynamic Rehabilitation Services team. This part-time position will involve working closely with physical therapists and occupational therapists to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. As a public entity, our wage range is set on a 30-step scale, and offer letters and wage determination will be written based on years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will work approximately 24 hours per week, three days a week, providing services to adult and pediatric patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. Key responsibilities include:

  • Assessing and treating patients with communication disorders and swallowing difficulties
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Providing education and training to patients and their families on communication and swallowing strategies

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • A Master's or doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
  • A minimum of three years of experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a hospital or rehabilitation setting
  • A strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care and excellent customer service
