Salary and Benefits for Outpatient Therapist:

  • salary range of $83,758 to $88,758 per year; based on licensure and previous relevant experience

Primary Duties for Outpatient Therapist:

  • Provide intake assessments and initial treatment planning
  • Provide psychotherapy (individual, family, and group) and on-going treatment planning
  • Provide minimum of four appointment hours per week after 5 pm
  • Provide daytime crisis services when needed

Minimum Qualifications for Outpatient Therapist:

EDUCATION AND LICENSURE:

  • Master's degree in Social Work and licensure by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board as a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW) by the first day of employment

EXPERIENCE:

  • Required: minimum of two years experience in providing clinical service, including diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapy services. Preferred: one year experience with the Kansas system of community-based mental health care and associated evidence-based practices.
