About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Logistics Coordinator for our 2nd & 3rd shifts. This position will play a crucial role in our operations, ensuring efficient and effective logistics management that keeps our business running smoothly around the clock.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of goods.
  • Utilize logistics IT systems to optimize procedures and track the progress of shipments.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, retailers, and customers to achieve mutual goals.
  • Resolve any arising problems or complaints related to logistics, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Supervise orders and arrange stocking of raw materials and equipment to ensure they meet needs.
  • Prepare accurate reports for upper management and stakeholders as required.
  • Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with company procedures and operations.
  • Ensure logistics procedures comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs, and efficiency to maximize profitability.
  • Plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services in line with company objectives.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Logistics Coordinator, with a minimum of 2 years in a transportation-related role.
  • Proficient in standard logistics software and MS Office Suite.
  • Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Active problem solver with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations, and ISO requirements related to logistics.
  • Ability to handle logistics of all scales, from small operations to large-scale corporate projects.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; BSc/BA in business administration, supply chain management, or relevant field will be a plus.
  • Ability to work during non-traditional hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.
