Job Overview

Position Objective:

This role is integral to our operations, focusing on leveraging industry expertise and sales acumen to identify potential clients, cultivate leads, and convert loan applications into finalized agreements. The selected candidate will conduct preliminary file assessments, ensure compliance with program specifications, and uphold all underwriting standards. We seek a proactive individual who excels in interpersonal relations and prioritizes customer satisfaction. Our branch network will enhance your lead generation efforts, while our seasoned team will offer avenues for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue leads to maximize loan opportunities.
  • Develop a marketing and sales approach that utilizes branch events to engage with the community.
  • Communicate necessary Approval Conditions for Closing with Escrow, Realtors, Loan Officers, and Borrowers.
  • Coordinate file management among Loan Officers, Processors, Underwriters, and Closers, serving as the primary contact for external vendors.
  • Effectively organize and prioritize the client pipeline.
  • Possess a comprehensive understanding of the loan submission process and service level expectations while managing multiple tasks.
  • Stay informed on FHA, VA, Conventional, and Jumbo loan products.
  • Foster positive relationships with internal teams and external partners.
  • Document all client interactions within the loan origination software.
  • Collaborate closely with operations staff to ensure a seamless and precise loan processing experience.
  • Uphold the highest standards of customer service.
  • Maintain knowledge of compliance regulations and agencies, including FHLMC, FNMA, FHA, and VA guidelines.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
  • Contribute value to the organization and its employees.
  • Act as a resource for the branch.
  • Exhibit teamwork and align with our core values.

Reporting Structure:

This position reports directly to the Loan Officer Manager.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Skills Required:

  • Two to four years of relevant experience.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated analytical and mathematical skills, along with customer service proficiency.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.

Abilities:

  • Willingness to travel to support local branch operations as needed.
  • Capacity to learn and utilize bank software.
  • Aptitude for building and maintaining client relationships while delivering exceptional service.
  • Flexibility to work various branch hours, including weekends and evenings, whether remotely or in-office.
  • Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • Competence in reading and understanding instructions, correspondence, and regulatory documents.
  • Capability to interact directly with the public, adhering to the Bank's Customer Service Standards.
