Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Optimization Lead to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing, leading, and implementing warehouse solutions that drive efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities


  • ​​Coordinates and aids in the design, evaluation, planning, integration, testing and completion of activities in engineering improvement projects
  • ​​Determines the most effective means for an organization to use capital, equipment, energy, facilities, information, material, people, and other assets to make a product or service
  • ​​Studies product or service and its requirements, using mathematical methods such as operations research, to meet those requirements and design manufacturing and information systems
  • ​​Reviews functional statements, organization charts, and project information to determine functions and responsibilities of workers and work units and to identify areas of duplication
  • ​​Collaborate closely with other departments such as IT and Operations to develop, test, and implement warehouse solutions
  • ​​Propose new automated warehousing solutions to increase productivity and improve throughput
  • ​​Analyze storage solutions and material handling processes and recommend optimal strategies to maximize efficiencies
  • ​​Improve warehouse flow by optimizing storage strategies and zoning
  • ​​Perform Return on Investment (ROI) analyses to justify capital proposals
  • ​​Design and create warehouse layouts for new and existing facilities using AutoCAD
  • ​​Select and work with outside vendors to complete projects
  • ​​Develop and integrate targeted solutions with customers and operations management
  • ​​Analyze existing processes and recommend opportunities for improvement
  • ​​Follow corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and report noncompliance when observed
  • ​​Observe all company safety rules and assist in enforcement as appropriate


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
​​A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field
​​Minimum 10 years of experience in developing, leading, and implementing warehouse solutions
​​Experience in leading and coaching early career industrial engineers and improvement specialists
​​Knowledge of secondary packaging a plus
​​Well-versed with Advanced Excel and data analytics tools like SQL, Power BI or Tableau
​​Knowledge of quality and safety concepts
​​Knowledge of Tier-1 WMS capabilities, preferably Manhattan SCALE
​​Knowledge and experience in lean, theory of constraints, and other improvement systems and frameworks

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of $130,000 based on education and experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, 401K with matching program, STD, LTD, vacation and sick time, and a friendly and open-door culture.
