Job Overview

Salary: $17 - $20 Hourly

AAMCI is thrilled to announce an opening for a Maintenance Technician at our multi-family housing property.

This is a full-time position with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, including participation in an emergency on-call rotation that offers premium pay for after-hours calls.

Our community focuses on affordable housing solutions, providing homes for income-qualified residents through Project Based Section 8 rent subsidies. In this role, AAMCI emphasizes the importance of exceptional customer service, safety protocols, skill enhancement, and effective time management to foster a nurturing environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare vacant units to achieve rent-ready status within 3 to 5 days
  • Address daily work orders efficiently
  • Conduct preventive maintenance tasks
  • Perform painting, plumbing, and electrical repairs
  • Execute drywall repairs
  • Maintain and beautify property grounds
  • Assist in conducting apartment inspections
  • Keep accurate records of preventive maintenance, work orders, inspections, and inventory management

Essential Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license
  • Proficiency with hand tools
  • Experience in painting, electrical work, plumbing, and drywall repair
  • Reliable transportation
