Key Responsibilities

  • Prioritize safety in all operations
  • Oversee and guide crew members on-site
  • Understand project specifications and interpret plans effectively
  • Adjust work sequences to align with project timelines, utilizing knowledge of equipment capacities and team capabilities
  • Ensure accurate completion and timely submission of crew time cards
  • Complete daily reports detailing crew activities
  • Identify and resolve unexpected challenges as they arise
  • Demonstrate proficiency in survey and grade staking techniques (Lasers, Transits, and GPS)
  • Manage all excavation tasks for your team
  • Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications and Skills
  • At least 5 years of experience as a foreman or supervisor in heavy civil construction
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety practices
  • Experience with heavy machinery
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Possession of a valid Driver's License
  • Competence in using both power and non-power tools
  • Physical capability to frequently sit, stand, walk, crouch, kneel, climb, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
  • Positive demeanor with strong motivational abilities
  • Effective time management, multitasking, and prioritization skills
  • Attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies
