Culinary Services Supervisor

Position Overview:
As a Culinary Services Supervisor, you will oversee the daily operations of our food service departments, ensuring exceptional quality and service. Your leadership will guide the Kitchen, Juice Bar, and Deli teams, fostering a collaborative environment to meet our objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervision: Direct all food service operations, delegating tasks effectively to achieve goals.
- Human Resources: Manage staffing by recruiting, training, scheduling, and mentoring employees. Ensure clear communication of job expectations and performance evaluations.
- Food Quality Control: Oversee food preparation and presentation, ensuring adherence to portion sizes and quality standards.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Maintain a safe and sanitary environment by enforcing health regulations and sanitation practices.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels and place orders for food, beverages, and supplies as needed.
- Financial Oversight: Manage budgets and payroll, ensuring financial targets are met by tracking expenses and implementing corrective measures.
- Staff Scheduling: Organize staff shifts and responsibilities to ensure adequate coverage at all times.
- Customer Relations: Build rapport with customers, addressing any concerns regarding food quality or service promptly.
- Employee Conduct Monitoring: Enforce dress code and manage disciplinary actions as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or G.E.D. required.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a managerial role within the food service industry.
- Skills: Proficient in English, with strong reading and writing abilities; bilingual skills are advantageous.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with inventory management and commercial kitchen equipment.
- Abilities: Exemplify outstanding customer service and support staff in delivering the same.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs frequently, along with prolonged periods of walking and standing.
Special Requirements:
Availability for various shifts and possession of ServSafe Certification for food and alcohol is necessary.
