Lead Plumbing Project Supervisor

As a Lead Plumbing Project Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and directing commercial and industrial plumbing construction initiatives, ensuring that all project requirements such as materials, workforce, timelines, and communication with stakeholders are met efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly understand project timelines, contractual agreements, and internal schematics; collaborate with other trades on-site
  • Complete necessary documentation and submit daily reports, incident reports, and other paperwork using mobile technology
  • Oversee and manage large-scale commercial plumbing projects across multiple job sites concurrently
  • Demonstrate experience in leading various teams, from Foreman to Apprentice levels
  • Work in conjunction with other trades to ensure plumbing tasks are completed within the designated project timelines
  • Make prudent financial decisions that benefit the organization
  • Guarantee the safety of personnel and equipment on-site
  • Plan proactively and communicate labor requirements effectively with the project manager
  • Follow company tool policies and provide mentorship to junior staff
  • Install plumbing systems and associated materials utilizing hand and power tools
  • Work at heights using ladders, manlifts, and other equipment
  • Carry out additional duties or special projects as assigned
  • Participate in both in-person and online training as required

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in managing commercial plumbing projects
  • Possess a Master Plumber license (preferably from Alabama, Florida, or Georgia)
  • Medical Gas certification or eligibility to obtain it
  • Experience supervising projects valued between $1M and $5M
  • Proven track record in overseeing job site personnel from Foreman to Apprentice levels
  • Ability to lead a team effectively, including training and mentoring
  • Familiarity with electronic documentation processes
  • OSHA 30 certification is preferred
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred
  • A background in healthcare is advantageous
