Key Responsibilities:


This role encompasses the advanced management of code compliance initiatives, which includes evaluating architectural plans, offering technical guidance, performing inspections, and overseeing the daily completion of field documentation. You will monitor project progress to ensure adherence to performance metrics and budgetary constraints, prepare proposals, and participate in site meetings to facilitate the resolution of both technical and administrative challenges.

In this capacity, you will be expected to mentor and guide less experienced building inspectors.


The Lead Code Compliance Project Supervisor is anticipated to be a recognized authority in code compliance issues and will actively engage in local jurisdictional building code and industry-related activities.


Additional responsibilities will involve the comprehensive management of code compliance inspection projects, serving as a project manager and senior reviewer utilizing our electronic reporting system.

This includes providing mentorship and field oversight for code compliance inspectors handling higher classification inspections for which they may lack the ICC certification.


Other tasks will encompass promoting code compliance consulting services to public sector clients, developing client relationships, preparing proposals, managing invoicing, and conducting project-related field and office work, including the preparation and review of final reports.


Qualifications:
Bachelor of Architecture (B.ARCH) or a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Building Science, or a related field

8-10 years of relevant experience

B2 certification is mandatory, along with at least one of the following: M2, E2, P2

A Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) license would be highly advantageous.
