As a Lead Plumbing Project Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and directing commercial and industrial plumbing construction initiatives, ensuring that all project requirements such as materials, workforce, timelines, and communication with the project management team, clients, and regulatory authorities are effectively handled.

Key Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly understand project timelines, contractual documents, and internal schematics; coordinate on-site activities with other trades
  • Complete necessary documentation and manage daily reports, incident reports, and more using a mobile device
  • Oversee and manage large-scale commercial plumbing construction projects across multiple job sites concurrently
  • Experience in leading diverse teams from Foreman to Apprentice levels
  • Collaborate with other trades to ensure plumbing tasks are completed within the project timeline
  • Make prudent financial decisions on behalf of the organization
  • Guarantee the safety of personnel and equipment on job sites
  • Plan proactively and communicate effectively with the project manager regarding labor requirements
  • Follow company tool policies and mentor junior staff
  • Install plumbing systems and associated materials using hand and power tools
  • Work from heights using ladders, manlifts, and other equipment
  • Perform additional duties or special projects as required
  • Participate in both in-person and online training as necessary

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in managing commercial plumbing projects
  • Possess a Master Plumber license (preferably from Alabama, Florida, or Georgia)
  • Medical Gas certification, or eligibility to obtain
  • Experience supervising projects valued between $1M and $5M
  • Proven experience in overseeing job site personnel from Foreman to Apprentice levels
  • Ability to lead a team effectively, including training and mentoring
  • Familiarity with electronic documentation processes
  • OSHA 30 certification is preferred
  • High school diploma or GED is preferred
  • A background in healthcare is advantageous
