JOB OBJECTIVE
The RHVAC Retrofit Supervisor will oversee and collaborate with a team of 3 to 4 RHVAC retrofit technicians to fulfill daily project obligations and accurately document the completed work for submission to the Project Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and collaborate with the team to execute refrigerant retrofits as per schedule, emphasizing quality output while adhering to stringent safety protocols.
- Coordinate, engage in, and supervise all facets of retrofit operations assigned to the team.
- Track and record refrigerant consumption within designated locations.
- Engage with clients and effectively communicate with site management to keep them informed about ongoing retrofit operations.
- Liaise with retail personnel to ensure the integrity of refrigerated products is maintained.
- Maintain comprehensive records, testing documentation, and other relevant information related to the tasks performed.
- Provide timely updates regarding job-related progress.
- Adhere to established policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Account for materials utilized and hours worked by the crew.
- Ensure that tools and equipment assigned to the team are well-maintained and operational.
- Follow established safety and operational protocols, reporting any unsafe practices to the project manager.
- Proactively inspect for refrigerant leaks and conduct necessary repairs.
- Prepare systems for retrofitting and execute refrigeration/HVAC retrofit projects efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in mechanical and electrical areas.
- Assist in the recovery of existing refrigerants.
- Work a flexible schedule, including overnight shifts.
- Perform additional job-related tasks as required.
- Travel is required, with a schedule that may include extended overnight shifts.
- Safely operate a company vehicle and equipment to and from project sites daily.
- Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Act in accordance with all company policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of refrigeration experience in a grocery store environment.
- Extensive knowledge of supermarket rack refrigeration systems, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and customer service abilities.
- Capability to multitask, work independently, and make prompt, sound decisions.
- Excellent work ethic and a high standard of integrity.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with a clean driving record for the past 5 years.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Journeyman certification in refrigeration and HVAC systems, or equivalent experience.
- E.P.A. certification for refrigerant handling (Class II, III, or universal).
- Proficiency in the English language.
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing, DMV review, and background check.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated basic computer skills and familiarity with Refrigeration Controller Technology.
- Self-motivated with a successful track record in previous roles.
- Exceptional interpersonal, motivational, and communication skills.
