Key Responsibilities:

As a CNA, you will play an essential role in creating a supportive and caring atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing companionship and emotional support to residents, fostering a comforting environment.
  • Collaborating with nursing and healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Assisting residents with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Supporting mobility needs, including transferring and repositioning residents to ensure comfort and independence.
  • Helping residents during mealtimes, ensuring nutritional needs are met according to individual dietary requirements.
  • Monitoring and reporting any changes in residents' physical and emotional health.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A valid and current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Indiana.
  • The ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and assisting with mobility.
  • A strong passion for geriatric nursing and a commitment to providing excellent care for seniors.
