Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in assessment and care planning for residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Coordinate and supervise all services on assigned units, ensuring seamless delivery of care.
  • Regularly round on nursing units to monitor patient progress and address any concerns.
  • Facilitate communication between licensed nurses and providers, promoting effective collaboration and teamwork.
  • Ensure complete and accurate documentation through spot-checking and ongoing supervision.
  • Consult with Unit Managers to provide continuity of care to residents.
  • Assist in ensuring adequate staffing for the nursing department, ensuring patients receive the care they need.
  • Provide direct resident care and work as a staff nurse, demonstrating expertise and compassion.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • At least 1 year of Long-Term Care experience.
