Role Overview
An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled and experienced professional to join our dynamic Private Equity Business Process Analysis team.

In this position, you will play a crucial role in managing business support, overseeing system enhancements, and leading the development of the Investran application.

Your duties will encompass efficiently managing both minor adjustments and significant capital initiatives for the Private Equity sector, while also driving the adoption of innovative technology.

Your essential responsibilities will include the development and support of Investran, along with its related applications within the Private Equity division.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first-level production support for Investran and its associated applications, ensuring timely resolution of functional and technical inquiries from the Private Equity sector.

• Collaborate with internal technology teams and external vendors to effectively address functional and technical issues.

• Analyze operational workflows and processes, working alongside the Private Equity operations team to pinpoint areas for automation, aiming to mitigate risk and enhance efficiency.

• Collaborate, gather, analyze, outline, and develop requirements for small changes and projects, coordinating with both business and technology teams.

• Employ project management tools and methodologies when engaging in project initiatives.

• Develop application testing strategies and test plans, execute test cases, and review outcomes for SunGard Investran and its ancillary applications.

• Report and troubleshoot any defects encountered.

• Serve as a functional Subject Matter Expert for Private Equity operations and the Investran platform, documenting processes and building a knowledge base while cross-training team members.

• Support new business onboarding and contribute to the expansion of the existing client base.

• Work closely with regional functional managers on various processes and projects to ensure effective communication and seamless implementation.

• Act as a Change Advocate, fostering trust within the business team and generating enthusiasm. Collaborate closely with business partners to provide consultative-level support.

• Utilize tools such as Tableau and Alteryx to streamline workflows and deliver insightful analytics.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A solid understanding of the FIS Investran platform along with knowledge of Private Equity operations.

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or a strong operational background in private equity.

• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong IT and systems skills, with the ability to communicate effectively between technical and non-technical teams.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Comfort in collaborating with business partners and clients.

• Familiarity with tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, or other Private Equity applications.

• The ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.

Experience

A college or university degree along with relevant work experience is required. IIBA Certification is a plus.
