Progressive Care Unit Clinical Leadership Role

We are seeking a skilled Progressive Care Unit Clinical Coordinator RN to join our team at TriCities Hospital. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in patient-centered care and coordination to drive high-quality outcomes.
About the RoleThis position is responsible for ensuring and delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and coordination of all functions in the unit/department during the designated shift. The successful candidate will collaborate with other members of the management team to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures. They will serve as a resource person for staff, model a commitment to the organization's vision/mission/values, and support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Participate in the ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit, in collaboration with other members of the management team.
- Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies, including employee rounding, hourly rounds, and other initiatives.
- Provide recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff, recommending and implementing courses of action, including training and development, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, completion of performance evaluations, and/or disciplinary actions to ensure a competitively better organization.
The ideal candidate will be a Nursing graduate with RN Diploma or Associate of Science in Nursing, preferably with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. A minimum of [estimated salary: $65,000 - $90,000] per year, depending on experience, is offered for this role.
