At The Salvation Army, we are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team. As a Sales Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and contributing to the success of our retail operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including receiving and processing donations, stocking shelves, and performing basic janitorial duties.
- Operate cash registers, process transactions, and maintain accurate records of sales and inventory.
- Assist with visual merchandising, including creating attractive displays and arranging merchandise to maximize sales.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales goals and support the overall success of the store.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
