Job Title: Behavioral Health Associate

Join The Salvation Army USA Western Territory as a Behavioral Health Associate and contribute to the organization's mission to provide compassionate care and support to individuals in need.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the clinical staff in ensuring treatment outcomes by supervising client activities and chores.
  • Perform data entry into databases, prepare paperwork, and conduct client intakes and orientation groups.
  • Document client behaviors in the electronic health records system and assist with operational functions and scheduling.
  • Monitor clients, provide client education, and facilitate Recovery Living Skills groups as needed.
  • Transport and accompany clients on approved passes and obtain urinalysis specimens from clients as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One year's experience in clerical and data entry work and proficiency in using general office equipment, Microsoft Office Suite, and health databases.
  • Alaska State Counselor Technician certificate preferred.
